Jake Gutteridge is a Documentary Filmmaker based in London, England. His portfolio of work includes human-interest stories, corporate videos, political campaigns, and working for charities and NGOs. Most projects are self-shot with an intentionally minimal setup.
His premiere work The Discarded (2025) – a sequence of interviews with homeless individuals – explores how cinematography can encourage prosocial behaviour across creative formats, and how documentary filmmaking can be used to its maximum potential as a peacebuilding tool.
Long-term, Jake aspires to be able to travel the world while working as a cinematographer. He is open to all conversations about new projects and collaborations.
